Espen Sørbø
Chief Executive Officer
Espen joined as CEO in 2018. With over 23 years experience in oil service, his previous roles have primarily been with Halliburton owned companies Petroleum Engineering Services (PES), WellDynamics and Halliburton HCT . He also headed the TETRA office in Norway and founded Oil Tools of Norway.
Prior to joining us he was VP Completions for TCO with a global focus on sales and operations activity.
Stian Anke-Hansen
Chief Financial Officer
Stian holds two Master’s degrees, one in Economics and one in Accounting.
He spent 9 years working in Transaction Advisory Services and Audit in PwC and EY, advising on 40 national and international acquisitions and strategy projects.
Before joining Ace, Stian held the position as interim CEO and CFO in a growth phase technology start-up in Stavanger, Norway.

Joachim Åkesson
Sales Director
Joachim joined Ace Oil Tools as Sales Manager August 1, 2016.
Prior to joining us he had roles with Tesco Corporation, Smith Services and Franks International. He has 12 years of experience with sales, project management and operations.
Mike Moffitt
Vice President Western Hemisphere
Mike has a proud history in downhole tool development and deployment.
He began his career in liner systems and has nine years’ experience developing directional casing and liner drilling solutions with Tesco and Schlumberger.
Mike brings to Ace Oil Tools many talents from his roles in product development, sales, & operations engineering, and has been awarded 10 patents in casing and liner drilling technologies.
Mike is located in Houston, TX.
Ken Erik Steine
Business Development Manager
Ken Erik started his oil & gas career with Maersk Drilling before joining Schlumberger and then Tesco Corporation.
After 3 years working on casing drilling/running with Tesco Corporation, Ken Erik founded Ace Oil Tools together with Morten Klausen and Lasse Hetland.
Mark Holland
Business Development Manager Western Hemisphere
Mark has worked for Halliburton, Enventure, TETRA and APEX Resources in various sales, managerial and field engineering positions with travels to 25 countries worldwide.
Knowledge areas are Sales and Operations Management, Land/Offshore/DW Completions and advanced wellbore designs, Completion Fluid technologies, Radioactive and Explosive Technologies as well as Formation Evaluation experience.
Mark has 2 Patents issued, 6 industry papers authored/co-authored and is entered in Conrad and Marcel’s Book of Firsts.
Lasse Benjamin Jokela
Sales Engineer
With an engineering degree in Petroleum Technology, Lasse has ample experience as a Project Engineer at Weatherford, as well as several years as a Marketing Specialist at Innodisk.
Not only that, but he holds a bachelor's degree in China Studies and Chinese Languages.

Morten Lerbrekk
Chairman of the board
Morten is currently the founding partner and CEO of Tyrfing Innovation AS. He has more than 20 years of experience within the oil and gas industry and started his career in Schlumberger, where he held positions including Field responsible, Project manager and Sales Manager.
Prior to founding Tyrfing Innovation, he held the position of CEO of TCO AS.
He has an M.Sc in Civil Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Frederik Hvistendahl
Board member
Frederik joined ProVenture as Senior Partner in 2016.
He has more than 30 years experience within the Oil & Gas industry, and started his career in Schlumberger where he worked for 15 years both internationally and in Norway.
He has since held the position of CEO in Hitec Drilling & Marine Systems, Scandpower, Quickflange, Apply Sørco and Acona in addition to serving on the Board of Directors in several start-ups.
He holds a M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
John-Arne Hørløck
Board member
John-Arne is currently a board member of Investinor's portfolio companies, including Exprosoft AS, Ziebel AS, Ace Oil Tools AS and Sorbwater Techology AS.
Prior to working for Investinor he was Manager at PwC, and worked as a consultant in Accenture. He
John-Arne holds an MSc in Finance and an MSc in Accounting and Auditing from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and is State authorised public accountant.
